Creating City Buttons
Step 1. Open FLA file.
1.1. Click in the Lock column to the right of a layer's name to unlock
the Cities layer.
1.2. Click in the Hidden column to the right of a layer's name to hide
the City Buttons layer.
Step 2.
To create an object, you must first select it.
The Arrow tool allows you to select entire objects by clicking an object or dragging
to enclose the object within a rectangular selection marquee.
2.1. Select the Arrow tool and click
any existent City Name text block.
2.2.
Press Shift and also select the City Dot.
2.3. Copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) your selected objects.
Step 3.
Editing City Names. When editing text, you must first
select the Text tool. Double-click to select a word and type your New City Name.
Step 4.
Moving objects. To move an object, you can drag the object, use the Arrow keys, or use the Info panel.
To move objects by dragging:
1. Select an object or multiple objects (City Name and City Dot).
2. Select the Arrow tool, position the pointer over the object, and drag to the new position.
To breaking apart select a text block, choose Modify > Break Apart (Ctrl+B) if it is necessary.
Step 5.
5.1. Lock the Cities Layer and unlock the City Buttons Layer.
5.2. To display the Library window choose Window > Library. Select the Arrow tool.
Select the Citybutton_area Button on the Library Window and drag to the new position (under
New City text block).
5.3. Scale the Citybutton_area Button if it is necessary.
Step 6.
Save the file (File > Save) and publish it (File > Publish).
